About

Etalk S3 - Chapter 1: “Angel Funding & Syndication Strategies”

Webinar “𝗘𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲” is the sharing series of experienced VC partners or VC Experts from all over the world. This series covers key learning, investment insights, and real-world experience which will uplift the next generation of South East Asia’s venture capitalists. Also, this can help startup founders to gain a deep understanding of VCs’ mindsets and psychological drivers.

Angel investors are a crucial part of the startup funding ecosystem. They give businesses not only cash injections to grow quicker, but also their experiences, networks, and knowledge in an industry. Besides, more and more angel investors are banding together into groups to act in a syndicate, and become angel investment networks. VVCP’s ETALK Season 3 opens the chapters to bring you closer to the Angel Investor World.

In the first chapter of this season, we have a chance to meet an elite angel investor, who has 18+ years of experience, involving all stages of funding (equity, debt, grant, R&D) and stages of development including successful M&A exit transactions, series A, seed and R&D. This chapter will show you both overview and specific concepts for getting started with Angel Investing.
